Storm Ground is an upcoming strategy game developed by Gasket Games and published by Focus Home Interactive. Revealed to Gamescom 2020, the new title is the first strategy game located in the Age of Sigmar universe, which is the spiritual successor of the long-standing franchise Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Here's all we know about Storm Ground so far.

Gameplay and History

Storm Ground will charge players to build and control their armies during high-turn skirmish level commitments. New units, objects and capacities will be unlocked over the progression in the game's solo campaign, which will have a nonlinear structure and explore the world's high fantasy world of Sigmar.

HEARTHSTONE + AUTOCHESS?! = BATTLEGROUNDS In addition to the solo campaign, Storm Ground will offer a competitive online multiplayer mode. In this one, the players will compete in battles 1 against 1 with their personalized armies. There is no word about CrossPlay yet.

Storm Ground is ready for a 2021 launch and should exit on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Given the output window, we assume that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are also in the cards.

The PC version is already available to pre-order on Steam.
