Death Stranding is a 2019 action video game established by Kolyma Productions. It is the first video game from director Video Kolyma and Kolyma Productions after their split from INAMI in 2015. It was launched by Sony Interactive Home Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 in November 2019 and also by 505 Games for Windows in July 2020. An updated version for PlayStation 5, Death Stranding Supervisor's Cut, was announced in June 2021 and also was launched on September 24, 2021. The video game is set in the USA following a disastrous event which caused destructive creatures to begin wandering the Earth. Players manage Sam Concierge Bridges (Norman Reeds), a carrier entrusted with delivering supplies to isolated colonies as well as reconnecting them through a cordless interactions network.
